Sri is an
Australian who was born and educated in India
and is a leading strategy and operations
specialist. He has spent the first two decades
of his life in three major cities in India
including two major Strategic Offshoring hubs –
Chennai (Madras) and Mumbai (Bombay) and the
next two decades in Sydney, London and the San
Francisco Bay Area (“Silicon Valley”).

Recently, he
lead the Swamy & Associates team that prepared a
ground-breaking report for Axiss and Invest
Australia entitled “The Global financial
services KPO phenomenon” which formed the
basis for an Axiss Executive Briefing on this
subject published in Jan 2006 as well as the
team that prepared the pioneering research
document along with Citigroup's banking analysts
entitled “Accelerating Australian Bank
Offshoring" published in May 2007

He along with
Credit Suisse First Boston’s banking analysts,
co-authored a major two-part Australian banking
industry study titled “ Bank Offshoring – who
will lead the next secular profit driver?” that
quantified the value creation impact of
potential offshoring strategies for each major
ASX listed banking organisation in Australia.

Educated at
India’s prestigious IIT and IIM institutions,
Sri has spent the last 15 years directing
strategic projects in the global financial
services industry in a variety of organisations
- the Financial Services / Strategy and M&A
group at Coopers & Lybrand (now
PricewaterhouseCoopers), the Group Strategy,
Planning & Development area of Commonwealth Bank
of Australia, the International Strategy &
Development group of eLance (www.elance.com) - a
Silicon Valley based Business Services
Outsourcing start up and as a Project Director
for the BPO subsidiary of a major UK
global financial services group.

He was
co-researcher and key co-contributor to the
pioneering KPMG global report on Financial
Services Knowledge-Process Outsourcing entitled
"Knowledge Process Outsourcing - unlocking top
growth by outsourcing the core".
